Up the north end of the training area, right by the pipeline, is a private strip. It's a light gravel strip running left to right, to the right of the large dam in the middle of the picture. The boys and I attended a Zonta fly-in there some years back, but it's now very quiet. There's a Cessno O-2 parked by the hangar. Sunday 4 June 2006 Click to enlarge |
